Siena

DETAILS

Siena Ristorante Bar is a fine Kosher Italian restaurant that offers house-made pasta, pizzas, whole-grilled fish, and seasonal vegetable sides. They have a very nice bar with some seats around it where you can eat your meal.

Overall the restaurant is on the smaller more intimate side with low lighting. One observation/PSA is that the tables are EXTREMELY close together. Have fun sliding in out and out of the back seat without knocking your neighbor's food over. Also, if you talk louder, everyone around you is with you in your conversation.

It's next door to Mint (same owner) so if you don't have a reservation and it's full, you can walk next door. Siena is the nicer of the two.

You can make reservations on the website or call.

Comments on the food:
- the Italian Burrata is just a ball of cheese over roasted tomatoes, like a take on caprese. Eh, not worth writing home about
- Artichokes + Carrots in the small plate section was just julienned roasted vegetables, alternative to any other classic side like cauliflower
- Spinach-Ricotta Gnocchi is very good
- the Brownie Sundae came in a tall mason jar and while was very good, was hard to share
