Sen Sakana
Midtown
DETAILS
Peruvian-Japanese restaurant that has recently become kosher. It's in Midtown Manhattan within walking distance to both Times Square and the Diamond District. This is like the sushi version of a steakhouse. Ambiance is beautiful and the overall experience is just different from a typical kosher steakhouse. The drinks are great and the non sushi options are also great. If you don't like sushi we still recommend coming here at least once (with someone who actually likes sushi). You might not necessarily come back but you won't regret trying it at all.
Standout menu item for the non sushi people is the quinoa crusted chicken.
